If you become ill or injured, your health insurance can help you move forward quickly with the right examination and treatment.
Organization of treatment courses
Your health insurance helps you get the right (pre-) examination and treatment from specialists and plan your course of treatment. PFA Pension's employees have extensive experience in navigating the healthcare system and can therefore help you get quick treatment at both private or public clinics and hospitals.
Follow up
After treatment, the health insurance will help you find the right aftercare (e.g. rehabilitation) and follow-up.
Treatment at physiotherapist and psychologist
It is possible to get the necessary treatment from a physiotherapist, chiropractor, and psychologist. Note that the insurance does not cover preventive treatments.
Second opinion
If you are to receive a particularly risky treatment or have a particularly serious or life-threatening illness/injury, you may be offered an independent consultation with a relevant specialist, as a second opinion
Health insurance for you in the age group 60-79
If you still pay into pension savings with PFA, you can continue to have health insurance after the retirement age.

Health insurance for your partner
When covered by a health insurance at PFA Pension, you are able to take out a health insurance plan for your spouse, domestic partner or registered partner at an advantageous price, provided that you partner lives in Denmark.
To take out the health insurance plan, you need to fill out a form and send it to PFA.
Health insurance for your children
All children under the age of 24, is covered by the heart insurance. Your stepchildren is also covered, even though they do not have the same adresse as you. Children above the age of 24, do have the opportunity to sign up.
